Welcome to HisabMitra ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal and business data is handled securely and responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application, web application, and related billing and ledger management services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, improve, and secure our billing, purchase, and party ledger management services for your business:

  • Account Information: When you sign up or log in (via mobile number, email, or Firebase Authentication), we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business details (such as Business Name, Business Address, and Tax ID/GSTIN).
  • Business & Financial Data: Sales records, purchase records, party ledger data, inventory details, transaction amounts, and generated invoice details that you record in the application.
  • Device & Usage Information: Basic device identifiers, operating system version, app usage statistics, and crash logs to improve app performance and system stability.

2. How We Store and Protect Your Data

  • Local Storage: Your billing data and day-to-day transactions are stored locally on your device (using SQLite/local database) for fast offline access.
  • Cloud Backup & Synchronization: When connected to the internet, your data is securely synced to cloud servers (Google Firebase Cloud Firestore / Authentication) to enable data backup, restore options, and multi-device synchronisation.
  • Data Security: We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS for data transmission and secure rule-based authorization for stored data) to protect your financial and business information against unauthorized access or disclosure.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for business operational purposes:

  • To provide billing, invoicing, purchase tracking, and party ledger services.
  • To generate business summary reports, PDF invoices, and payment receipts.
  • To synchronize and securely back up your financial records.
  • To respond to your support queries and resolve technical issues.
  • To send critical administrative alerts, security notifications, or updates regarding service updates.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal or business data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Limited data may be processed through trusted infrastructure service providers strictly required to operate the Service:

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Backup Services).
  • Legal Obligations: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Rights

You retain full ownership of all transaction data entered into HisabMitra. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and cloud-synced records at any time. To request account deletion, please contact us at chintan.savsani2002@gmail.com. Upon request, all cloud backup data linked to your account will be permanently deleted.

6. Children's Privacy

HisabMitra is intended strictly for business and financial management and is not directed towards individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
